Job Posting: Revenue Accountant

Position: Revenue Accountant
Pay Range: $30 to $60 per hour (depending on experience)
Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Manage and review revenue recognition processes in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Analyze and report on revenue streams, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile revenue accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting and support financial planning.
• Develop and maintain revenue-related internal controls and procedures.
• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue.
• Support the implementation of new revenue accounting systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting or a related role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
